The purpose of pressure protection valves is to isolate auxiliary air systems from the brake system in order to conserve air for braking system in case of the auxiliary system have any major leak.
It has a maximum operating pressure of 150 and a closing pressure of 65-75 PSI.
It will automatically close if the pressure drops below 65 PSI.
It does not include an in-line filter and flows in one direction only.
It has a weight of 7.7 oz.
